About Us
Located at the west end of Lake Ontario, Hamilton is the center of a densely populated and industrialized region known as the Golden Horseshoe, which is home to over 8 million residents and the cities of Toronto, Hamilton, Mississauga and Niagara Falls.
Cities such as these, as well as Oshawa, Oakville, Whitby and Kitchener all contain industrial production facilities such as steel and automotive manufacturing, and the Toronto Stock Exchange is the third largest per capita in North America.
All of these factors combine to make the Golden Horseshoe one the most economically important areas of Canada, not to mention one of the world’s largest tourism hubs due to Niagara Falls and its surrounding attractions.
